Description
Vitaglobin Syrup is a honey-flavored anti-anemic hematinic tonic containing a well-balanced combination of Ferric Ammonium Citrate 45mg as the primary iron source along with essential B-Complex Vitamins including Thiamine HCl (B1), Pyridoxine (B6), Cyanocobalamin (B12), Nicotinamide, and Folic Acid per 5mL, working synergistically to replenish iron stores, support hemoglobin synthesis, and correct nutritional deficiencies causing anemia. Ferric Ammonium Citrate provides a readily bioavailable and well-tolerated form of iron essential for red blood cell production, while the B-Complex vitamins support DNA synthesis, neurological function, energy metabolism, and erythropoiesis, and Folic Acid plays a critical role in preventing megaloblastic anemia by supporting normal cell division and maturation. It is indicated for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia, megaloblastic anemia, anemia of pregnancy and lactation, nutritional anemia in infants and children, general debility, fatigue, anorexia, nervous exhaustion, and conditions of decreased resistance to infection requiring nutritional support. Administered orally 2–3 times daily after meals — adults 3 teaspoonfuls, children 1–2 teaspoonfuls, and infants 3–5mL — Vitaglobin Syrup is generally well tolerated with its pleasant honey flavor enhancing compliance, particularly in pediatric patients, though mild gastrointestinal discomfort and dark-colored stools may occasionally occur due to the iron content.
