Simbrinza Eye Drops (BRINZOLAMIDE + BRIMONIDINE)

Description

Simbrinza Eye Drops are a combination ophthalmic suspension manufactured by Alcon Vision Care, containing Brinzolamide 1% and Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2%, specifically formulated to reduce elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. The two active ingredients work through complementary dual mechanisms — Brinzolamide acts as a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor that decreases aqueous humor production, while Brimonidine Tartrate is an alpha-2 adrenergic agonist that both reduces aqueous humor production and increases uveoscleral outflow. The recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) three times daily, and it should not be given to children younger than 2 years old.
