Description

Azopt (Brinzolamide 1%) Sterile Ophthalmic Suspension is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor eye drop used to lower elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It works by reducing the production of aqueous humor in the eye, thereby decreasing eye pressure and preventing damage to the optic nerve. It should be used under medical supervision and may cause mild side effects such as temporary blurred vision, eye discomfort, and a bitter taste after instillation.
