Clexane Inj. (Enoxaparin Sodium)

Description

Clexane Injection (Enoxaparin Sodium) is a low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) used as an anticoagulant for the prevention and treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and thromboembolic complications associated with acute coronary syndromes (ACS). It works by selectively inhibiting Factor Xa and, to a lesser extent, Factor IIa (thrombin), thereby preventing the formation and extension of blood clots. Administered subcutaneously (or intravenously in certain indications), it offers predictable pharmacokinetics with no routine monitoring required in most patients. Dose adjustment is necessary in renal impairment, and it should be used with caution in patients at increased risk of bleeding.
