Description
Ocudine Eye Drops (Olopatadine HCl 0.1%)
Ocudine Eye Drops contain Olopatadine Hydrochloride, a sterile ophthalmic solution that acts as both a relatively selective histamine H1-receptor antagonist and an inhibitor of histamine release from mast cells, targeting the root cause of allergic eye reactions at the cellular level. It is used to treat itching of the eye caused by allergic conjunctivitis, including eye itching and redness triggered by pollen, ragweed, grass, animal hair, and dander. The eye drops generally produce an improvement within half an hour of application, and common side effects include headache, sore throat, and mild eye discomfort.
