TAMISO MR (Tamsulosin HCI)

Description

TAMISO MR (Tamsulosin HCl 0.4mg) is a modified-release capsule manufactured by SAMI Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd., Karachi, Pakistan. It is a selective alpha-1 adrenergic blocking agent that relaxes smooth muscle in the bladder neck and prostate, resulting in improved urine flow rate and a reduction in symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). It primarily works through selective blockade of alpha-1A and alpha-1D adrenoceptors located in the prostate and bladder neck, helping to relieve urinary hesitancy, weak stream, and incomplete bladder emptying. It is available in packs of 10 capsules and is taken orally once daily, as directed by a physician.
