Skin-A Cream (Tretinoin Cream USP)

Description

Skin-A Cream is manufactured by ATCO Laboratories Ltd., Pakistan, containing Tretinoin USP 0.05% as the active ingredient — a derivative of Vitamin A — used to treat acne vulgaris, photoaging, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. Tretinoin works by speeding up the process of skin cell turnover, shedding old dead skin cells and encouraging the growth of new healthy ones, reducing keratin buildup to keep pores clear, and also possessing anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the redness and swelling associated with acne. It is applied once daily at night to affected areas, and may take 2–3 weeks to show initial effects, with full results often taking up to 6 weeks of consistent use.
