Description

Ivermite (Ivermectin Tablet USP) is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic medication used to treat a wide range of parasitic infections including strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), scabies, pediculosis (lice), and other helminthic and ectoparasitic infestations. It works by binding selectively to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrate nerve and muscle cells, causing increased permeability of the cell membrane, leading to paralysis and death of the parasite without significant effect on mammalian cells.
