Description
FML-Neo Liquifilm (Ophthalmic Suspension) is a combined ophthalmic preparation containing Fluorometholone (a corticosteroid) and Neomycin sulfate (an aminoglycoside antibiotic), used in the treatment of ocular conditions where both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial coverage is required. Fluorometholone reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling by suppressing the release of inflammatory mediators, while Neomycin targets and eliminates susceptible gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections of the eye. The “Liquifilm” base ensures good ocular bioavailability and comfortable retention on the eye surface. It is commonly prescribed for conjunctivitis, keratitis, and post-operative ocular inflammation complicated by or at risk of bacterial infection.
