Cardura (Doxazosin Mesylate)

Description

Cardura (Doxazosin Mesylate) is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) — a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate causing urinary problems. It works by blocking alpha-1 receptors, relaxing smooth muscle around blood vessels to lower blood pressure and improving urine flow in BPH patients. Available in 1 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg, and 8 mg tablets, taken once daily as prescribed by a physician.
