Description
Deximox is a combination ophthalmic solution containing Moxifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid — working together to treat bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and post-surgical ocular inflammation. Moxifloxacin kills bacteria by inhibiting their cell division, while Dexamethasone suppresses inflammatory mediators (prostaglandins) to relieve redness, swelling, and irritation. Instilled 2–4 times daily as directed, it should not be used in viral or fungal eye infections, glaucoma, or for longer than prescribed to avoid steroid-related side effects.
