Description

DAONIL contains Glibenclamide (Glyburide), a second-generation sulfonylurea oral antidiabetic agent used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. It works by stimulating the beta cells of the pancreas to secrete more insulin, thereby lowering blood glucose levels effectively. Daonil is indicated when dietary modifications and lifestyle changes alone are insufficient to achieve adequate glycemic control.
