Description

Noregyn is a synthetic and potent progestogen hormone that stops uterine bleeding and mimics the effects of natural progesterone, with some additional weak androgenic and oestrogenic activity. It is used to delay menstruation, treat premenstrual syndrome (PMS), manage endometriosis, reduce heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia), and address hormone-related disorders such as amenorrhea and dysmenorrhea. It is typically taken as one tablet three times daily, with the duration and dosage adjusted according to the condition being treated — for instance, bleeding in dysfunctional uterine disorders usually stops within 48 hours of starting treatment.
