Description
Detrusitol, manufactured by Pfizer, contains Tolterodine L-Tartrate — a muscarinic receptor antagonist that works by blocking cholinergic receptors in the bladder, reducing involuntary bladder contractions. It is indicated for the treatment of overactive bladder syndrome, relieving symptoms such as urinary urgency, frequent urination, and urge incontinence. The recommended dose is 2mg twice daily, with caution advised in patients with urinary retention, narrow-angle glaucoma, or myasthenia gravis.
